Q: How much is the event?
A: Free

Q: Where is the best place to see the parade?
A: Front and K St.

Q: Where is the festival portion of the event held?
A: K St., California State Parks (111 I St.), and Embarcadero.

Q: Is this event handicap accessible?
A: Yes!

Q: Where is the nearest parking?
A: Parking garages are located on I street and 2nd (Old Sacramento City Garage), as well as 1289 Front Street (Tower Bridge Parking Garage).

Q: Will there be street parking available?
A: No street parking from 9 AM – 2 PM. After 2 PM Street parking with the exception of K St. will be available from 2 PM – 5 PM. It’s recommended to park in the parking garage, walk in, or cycle in.

Q: Can we get to Old Sacramento Waterfront from DOCO?
A: Yes.

Q: Is there Irish bars in Old Sacramento?
A: Yes! O’Malley’s Irish Bar, and Sean Finnegan’s Pub.

Q: Is this a 21+ and up event?
A:  No

Q: Is this event family friendly?
A: Yes!

Q: Can I bring my dog to this event?
A: Yes!

Q: How much is parking?
A: Old Sacramento Garage – Daily Rates (6 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
$1.50 each half hour or fraction thereof
$13.00 day maximum charge
$20.00 24-hour daily maximum
Evening Rates (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.)
$7.00 nightly maximum charge

Tower Bridge – Daily Rates (6 a.m. to 6 p.m.)

Q: Will the streets be closed?
A: Yes. From 10 AM – 3 PM the streets will be closed for the parade. From 10 AM – 5 PM K St. will be closed for the festival portion of the event.

 

LEPRECHAUN HUNT!

Q: What is the Leprechaun Hunt?
A: Leprechauns have hidden throughout Old Sacramento Waterfront! Each leprechaun will have a corresponding secret word that families must fill in on the activity pages to move onto the next hidden leprechaun.  You’ll need to fill in each clue to solve the secret code at the end.

Q: When is the Leprechaun Hunt?
A: March 1st – 18th

Q: Is there a specific timeframe to finish the Leprechaun Hunt?
A: You can do the hunt in a day, or over many days between March 1st – 18th.

Q: Where do I pick up the activity book for the Leprechaun Hunt map?
A: Pick up your activity pages at any of the 10 participating businesses in Old Sacramento or you can download or print the activity pages from the Old Sacramento website.

Q: Where do I turn in my answer for the activity book?
A: Once complete, email [email protected] the secret word to for a chance to win.

Q: What do I win from the Leprechaun Hunt?
A:  Winners will receive an Old Sacramento Waterfront experience.

A: Check-in is at Front St. and O St., equestrian units will be staged for the parade on Neasham Circle.

Q: How much does it cost to participate in the Parade and Festival?

$35 to apply
Participation fees are as follows:
FREE for non-profit groups under 15 people
FREE for school bands and performing arts groups
$25 for non-profit groups over 15 people
$40 for all other groups

VENDORS
$35 to apply
Participation fees are as follows:
$30 for health permit
$250 food truck
$215 food tent
$150 snack
$100 retail

FREE for business within downtown district
