What’s happening for 916 Day?

Last year, Sacramento City Council declared September 16, as “916 Day” and it’s this weekend! 916 Day is a day to celebrate and show love to our city. There are quite a few events happening throughout the city, but here are the ones happening downtown.

916 Night Market – Friday, September 15

The 916 Night Market provides Latin dance and music, goods from local vendors, and recreation and arts to families at the Cesar Chavez Plaza in downtown Sacramento.

916 Day on the K – Saturday, September 16

916 Day on the K will be a day packed with live music, delicious food, local vendors, and much more! Sacramento favorite, Nash & Proper will be at this event and is sure to bring the heat.

916 Swing on the Waterfront – Saturday, September 16

If you like Swing dancing or want to learn, go to 916 Swing on the Waterfront in Old Sac. This event is on the Embarcadero and is just after the Sacramento Salsa Festival, you can make a night of it!
