New Pop-Up is Here for Dry January

Jordan Alwood

If you’re participating in Dry January or maybe you’re just sober-curious– we’ve got the perfect place for you.

The Teetotalist

Calling All Dreamers participants The Teetotalist has opened a pop-up mocktail bar on K Street in Downtown Sacramento. This is Sacramento’s first 100% sober bar opening in the city’s central core.

This business is run on a zero-proof bar concept where people can gather, socialize, and enjoy a night out in a setting that feels like a bar, but with an alternate beverage menu.

This lovely mocktail bar uses nonalcoholic spirits from brands such as Ritual, Lyre’s, and Three Spirits. Take the “Clover Club,” with alcohol-free gin, raspberry syrup, aquafaba, and citrus. Or, you can order a ginger Old Fashioned that won’t result in a hangover.

Amanda Brincat and Kathryn Altman announced that they will be open from 4–10 PM on Fridays, 2–10 PM on Saturdays, and 2–8 PM on Sundays. All drinks are 0.5% ABV or less.

You can also enjoy some fun events– such as a Paint & Shop, as well as some fun speed dating!

Another Calling All Dreamer known as Dipped N Color is pairing up with The Teetotalist to host a fun workshop that allows you to drink fancy mocktails while you paint. This event is on January 26th from 6:30–8:30 PM.

February 9th from 6–9 PM is Queer Speed Dating Night. You can make a friend or possibly find love!

Check out the pop–up bar on K Street when you get the chance and need some time to kick back and relax…without the hangover.
