Pressure Lounge

Pressure Lounge - Harlows swirly

What’s the origin of your bands name?
The tension between a) being chill in the pocket and b) dancing your face off

What are you looking forward to at Concerts in the Park?
Seeing our friends bring their newest and best sonic creations to the public, and seeing a public which often does not attend so many late night shows be able to discover our city’s amazing musical talent

Where do you plan on going after attending/performing a concert in Downtown Sacramento?

To assured fame and fortune, of course! But seriously, we’ll go see whichever shows are packed with the best local bands that night. Support stance.

DJ Peeti-V

002How did your band form?

Being raised in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, I had very little to do other than fly-fishing. I have always loved music. I used to listen to DJs mix on the radio so at the age of 11, I decided to buy a pair of used turntables and that is how it all started roughly 20 years ago.

What is your favorite music venue in Downtown Sacramento?

For the nightclub experience, you really can’t beat The Park Ultra lounge.
For concerts, Ace of Spades really owns that scene.
For intimate live performances, I prefer Shady Lady!
