Fall in Love with ARTober!

Contributed by Karlee Cemo-McIntosh, Marketing & Business Development Manager for Sacramento365

October in the arts world is really ARTober – aka Arts and Humanities Month. To celebrate, Sacramento365 wants to spread the word by making it an “ARTober” night all month long.

Fall more in love with Sacramento with these artsy events. Get out and embrace, explore, and celebrate downtown’s vibrant arts scene.

While you’re out indulging in these artsy outings, get social and share your “Make it a Night” fun by using the hashtags #Sacramento365 and #ARToberSac!

Join in on the weirdly wonderful and the eclectically eccentric party at Crocker’s monthly ArtMix and see NBC’s The Voice contestant Kat Robichaud’s Misfit Cabaret. Enjoy $6 drink specials all night, dance in the dark to DJ Katharos, check out cult film cuts all night long, and shop the Bizarre Bazaar, all while styling a sultry cabaret look!

Please note that this event is for ages 21+.

After an evening of fun, grab a bite and enjoy a nightcap at Ten22 in Old Sac.

Sacramento International LGBTQ Film Festival

October 13-15

Crest Theatre

Waive your pride flag to celebrate Sacramento International LGBTQ Film Festival’s 26th anniversary! Along with sharing films with a queer perspective, this entertaining three-day event features local food, beer, wine, and live entertainment.

Looking for a pre-or-post film bite? Check out Mother’s colorful vegetarian menu.

Sacramento Philharmonic & Opera presents Brahms’ First Symphony

The Sacramento Philharmonic & Opera is ready to kick-off their 2017-2018 season and that’s music to our ears. Take in the remarkable sounds as they perform Brahms’ “First Symphony.”

Make it a night on the town with dinner at Ella Dining Room & Bar and a post-show drink at The Hotel Bar.

If these selections aren’t enough for you then check out our Make it a Night page for more ARTober happenings! We also recommend downloading In the Sac App. The app offers the best local farm-to-fork, libations, coffee, murals, and event recommendations (powered by Sacramento365) on the grid.
