Foodies rejoice! The newest addition to The Bank food hall is officially opened for business and they have got all the burgers you will ever need. Station 8 Burgers is the fourth business venture for husband & wife duo, Trinh Le & Minnie Nguyen. 
They also own the popular seafood restaurant Station 16 in #DowntownSac as well as Station 38 Coffee and Firehouse Crawfish. This time around they are focusing on burgers with a twist. Their tantalizing burgers feature local ingredients, from buns by Estelle’s and beef from Wheatland. They also have a plant based vegetarian option: The Impossible Burger, featuring a 100% plant-based patty with house-made chile, avocado, lettuce, tomato, fresh onion and pickles. For people who have dined at Station 16, you will notice some familiar items on the menu such as the lobster roll with chilled lobster on a buttery roll, lemon, and a touch of house seasoning; 
Cajun garlic fries with garlic, parmesan cheese, Cajun seasoning and aioli; and, of course the popular 16 burger with a single patty, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, bacon and the showstopper ingredient: a fried egg. For Nguyen, one of the most exciting parts of opening a restaurant in The Bank is being able to serve a different crowd in a more casual atmosphere with laughter, fun, and dancing.
“My husband and I grew up in Sacramento, we went to school at Sac State, we [came] downtown and now were serving who we once were. We’re serving ourselves. Who we were 10 years ago and that’s what’s the best about it,” says Nguyen.
The secret ingredient that brings all four of their businesses together is the love behind it all. 
When Nguyen wanted to quit her day job to become a chef and open her own restaurant her husband gave up his dream of becoming a firefighter to help her make that dream a reality with their first restaurant, Firehouse Crawfish in 2011. According to Nguyen, in the end “life is [to] short [not to] follow your dreams.”
Make sure the next time you head out for happy hour to stop by The Bank to experience all the mouthwatering deliciousness that is Station 8 Burgers. They are open for business from 11am to 10pm Monday-Sunday.
