Dine Downtown is Sacramento’s restaurant week, a week where visiting restaurants and giving back has slowed down, and we want to give them a boost. Dine Downtown can be viewed as an incentive program for you to try a restaurant and feel good doing it! Starting January 12th until January 21st, you can order a curated 3-course meal for $45 with $1 from every meal going to the Food Literacy Center.
With incentive in mind, I wanted to share the best deals you can get during Dine Downtown! These seven restaurants are all $$$ on Yelp, so maybe you’d spend special events or celebratory dinners there, but you can’t normally leave with a full belly for $45. Last year you raised $11,500 for the Food Literacy Center whose mission is to inspire kids to eat their vegetables. They teach children in low-income elementary schools cooking, nutrition, gardening, and active play to improve our health, environment, and economy.
