Basketball Season is BACK!

Jordan Alwood

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! No, not Christmas– basketball season of course. The Sacramento Kings are bringing the heat to the Golden 1 Center this year and we couldn’t be more excited. To see what a game looks like, check out our reel on Instagram HERE. Now let’s get into what you can expect this season.

New Food Items

Not only are the Kings bringing in a new starting lineup, but there are also some new additions to the menu. The meal program is unique and has a special focus on the community. All food is sourced locally, and 90% of the food and drink that passes through this structure is produced within 150 miles of Golden 1 Center. The Golden 1 Center believes that supporting local businesses and farmers is important, and also believes in the importance of our environmental impact. Doughnuts are available in flavors inspired by the visiting opposition for a particular game. Other noteworthy products were a fried rockfish sandwich from popular local restaurant Cafe Bernardo, which will be available on the arena’s south side and is also famed for its cheeseburgers and garlic fries.
