Turner Sparks’ newest stand up comedy album Double Happiness (released in September 2022 by Larry The Cable Guy’s Git R Done Records/ Comedy Dynamics) went to #1 in America on the iTunes Comedy Charts and is currently in heavy rotation on SiriusXM’s comedy channels.

In October of 2018 Sparks was inducted as the newest “Friar” at the legendary Friars Club in New York City, and in September 2020 he was elected to the Friars’ Board of Governors. In October 2021 Turner made his debut on The Las Vegas strip with a week-long residency at The Laugh Factory comedy club inside The Tropicana Hotel, a feat he repeated again in March 2022 and March 2023.

While he currently lives in Brooklyn, New York, award-winning comedian Turner Sparks started his comedy career in 2009 in Suzhou, China by founding Mainland China's first stand up comedy club, Kung Fu Komedy Club.

In 2016 Sparks returned to the US and has been rising quickly in the New York City comedy scene ever since. Sparks has become a regular performer at the top comedy clubs in New York City including Stand Up NY, New York Comedy Club, West Side Comedy Club, The Friars Club, The Comedy Shop in Greenwich Village and more.

Sparks has performed in over 15 countries and continues to draw rave reviews for hitting the audience with his razor-sharp punch lines, quick wit and global perspective, all while maintaining his signature clean show. Sparks’ world travels and diverse background give him the unique ability to appeal to audiences in any setting from a bar in Singapore to a country club in Texas to a late-night comedy club in New York City. His US television appearances include Lucky Chow (PBS/ National Geographic), Kennedy on Fox Business and CGTN (America). Sparks is also the host of the popular “Lost in America” podcast on iTunes, which is a worldwide hit going to #1 in Armenia, Albania, Chile, Croatia, Czech Republic, El Salvador, Finland, Mongolia, Nepal, Peru, Pakistan, South Korea, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates and his high school’s Instagram page (Jesuit High – Go Marauders!).

Outside of the US, Sparks has popped up on CCTV and CGTN (China) and in January 2019 he appeared on China’s hit comedy show Roast! on Dragon TV, which is viewed by an estimated 400 million people.

Turner Sparks performs hundreds of shows a year throughout the world and was awarded “Best of the Fest” at the 2014 Akumal Comedy Festival (Mexico) presented by Stand-Up Records, “1st Runner Up” in the 2015 Hong Kong International Comedy Competition and “Best of the Fest” at the 2016 Burbank Comedy Festival (Los Angeles).
