Innovations is a remarkable bill of in-demand works including Val Caniparoli’s Ibsen’s House ballet that weaves a story around five female characters extracted from Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen’s plays and a world premiere from Louisville Ballet’s resident choreographer Andrea Schermoly who is known for innovative reimagining of classic works including Martha Graham’s Appalachian Spring and her new twist on Romeo & Juliet for Royal New Zealand Ballet. SacBallet continues its time honored connection with the George Balanchine Trust and will present a special surprise work to be announced.
