Hispanas Organized for Political Equality (HOPE) is proud to announce the return of the 30th Annual Latina Action Day. This landmark event serves as the premier advocacy day for the 35-year-old organization, amplifying the voices and experiences of Latinas across California and influencing statewide policymaking.
Latina Action Day brings together over 400 Latinas from diverse backgrounds to the State Capitol, empowering them to advocate for the advancement of Latinas in various spheres of civic life. This year’s conference will feature in-depth discussions on state policy measures impacting Latinas, including college affordability, maternal health, economic empowerment, and civic engagement. Participants will engage in dialogue with decision-makers during legislative meetings to emphasize the importance of policies supporting the economic and political parity of Latinas. The day ends with a reception celebrating Latina leadership and honoring Latina advocates from local communities across the state.
