Sacramento Beer Week: Top 4 Events

Did someone say beer? Raise a glass because Sacramento’s 7th annual Beer Week is back and better than ever. The highly anticipated 11-day event is dedicated to locally crafted beer that’s independently made and traditionally brewed. You can expect exclusive releases, unique collaborations, and full-flavored events every day.

With a full line-up of participating breweries and countless events scheduled, we’re here as your designated director, guiding you to the top four events that have us buzz-ing.

 

Brews & Brains Trivia Night – Goldfield Trading Post – 1630 J Street | 5:30-8pm

March 2nd: What better way to kick off Sacramento Beer Week brushing up on your ’90s knowledge over some beer? Teams for this trivia night will be capped at six participants. Bring friends or come solo and be placed on a team. Your tickets include two beers and tacos from Goldfield’s. Even better? Proceeds will benefit the Sacramento Kindergarten 2 College Savings Program! Register here.

 

Beer Week at Capitol Garage — Capitol Garage – 1400 K Street | Times vary

March 3rd – 12th:  Relax, enjoy beer and stay for any of the casual events they have going on all week. From food made with beer, to food made for beer; from puppies to pints, pancakes to karaoke prizes, they’ve got you covered!

 

Berryessa Flight and Beer Dinner at Empress Tavern – Empress Tavern – 1013 K Street | 4-9pm

March 8th: A collaboration that one can only dream of! Empress Tavern will be celebrating SBW with Winters, California’s Berryessa Brewing by offering a Happy Hour flight and family-style beer dinner. Both the flight and dinner will feature five of Berryessa’s finest brews. They had us at Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Black Saison. Snag tickets here while they’re still available!

 

Capitol Beer Fest — Fifth Street Bridge in the downtown Railyards | 12-5pm

March 12th: The day where every hour is beer:30. Close out Sacramento Beer week with the biggest and the best at Capitol Beer Fest. Expect to see all the top breweries, food trucks, and live music. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to Runnin’ For Rhett Foundation. Purchase your tickets online and come thirsty!
