Clear your schedule this Memorial Day weekend because the Old Sacramento district is launching the ultimate kickoff to summer with a line-up of events that we can promise you would regret missing!

Soon-to-celebrate the newly-renovated waterfront embarcadero, we’re offering an exciting and diverse blend of old favorites and new experiences scheduled to take place over the extended Memorial Day Weekend. Everything from bar crawls to a brunch in the middle of the street – there’s something for everyone. Get all the details below on where you need to be!

May 24th Sunset Sip Wine Tasting
Time: 5:30-8:30 PM
Location: Waterfront Embarcadero
Tickets: $50-$70

With the golden sunset as the backdrop, come sip and sway at Old Sacramento’s Sunset Sip on the newly-renovated waterfront embarcadero! Enjoy tunes from national touring band Simple Creation as 20 wineries with over 40 wines from El Dorado Winery Association will be featured accompanied by sweet and savory bites from Delta King to indulge. Is there a better way to drink wine? We think not! Tickets are limited.

May 25th Memorial Day Bar Crawl
Time: 7-11:59 PM
Location: District-wide

Crawl down to the historic district as participating Old Sacramento bars will be hosting a Memorial Day Weekend Punch special. For only $5.25 you can score a delicious punch that will have you all smiles.

May 26th Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Presents The Old Sacramento Classic Car Show
Time: 11-5 PM
Location: District-wide

Throughout the district, 100 American models made during the years 1968- 1993 will be featured. Come walk the district while iHeart Media 93.7 The River streams live from the event. You also won’t want to miss the Cracker Barrel tent where they will be hosting free vintage soda tastings happening every hour on the hour.  Also, on the embarcadero will be a vendor village showcasing local businesses. This event is free and open to the public. Come join the fun!

May 27th Brunch on Front St.
Time: 11-2 PM
Location: 1000 Front Street
Tickets: $25-$35

Enjoy your Sunday morning brunching with friends as Old Sacramento provides a one-of-a-kind dining experience in the middle of Front Street! Expect unique dishes from some of Old Sacramento’s beloved restaurants, champagne mimosas, and DJ Joseph One spinning the best jams! Picture elongated community farm tables on the cobblestone road with a family style meal to gather and grub. We’re already counting down.
