Chocolate lovers, unite!

Take a bite out of the sweet life for Old Sacramento’s 4th annual Chocolate Week, as the historic waterfront district takes you on a chocolatey adventure from May 8 – 12th. All events taking place will be sugar coated with decadent goodness and oozing with delightful treats. Read the schedule below and be sure to buy your tickets early for these sell-out events.

Tuesday May 8th: Chocolate Pairing | Tickets
Chocolate paired with wine and cocktails sounds like the perfect weekday break! Guests can take their pick or head to both. Either way you’re in for a delicious combo.

Godiva chocolate martini paired with a house-made chocolate mousse.

Berry napoleon mousse paired with Matchbook chardonnay
Blood orange pot de crème paired with Rodney Strong merlot

Wednesday May 9th: Chocolate + Paint Night | Tickets
Enjoy Chocolate Week by indulging in a colorful and whimsical paint party with instructor Julia Roberts. She will be instructing guests on how to paint a chocolate covered strawberry. Don’t miss out on the fun!

Thursday May 10th: Choc-la-tour | Tickets
Sample and savor some tasty (and even surprising) chocolate treats on our self-guided Choc-la-tour! This sell-out event provides guests a chance to stroll and taste their way through the historic district while making stops at participating Old Sacramento merchants.
Time: 4-7 PM

Friday May 11th: Tango + Chocolate | Tickets
Join Tango by the River as they host a tango demonstration and lesson accompanied by Argentine wine and of course, a chocolate treat.
Time: 6:30- 8 PM

Saturday May 12th: Chocolate + Dance | Info
Guests will be able to take a free dance lesson (no partner required) and enjoy an opportunity to relax and vibe to some of the best in Latin dance music including bachata, salsa, and reggaeton. Enjoy a surprise chocolate treat upon arrival.
