Indulge in a beer because St Patrick’s Day is here! You’re in luck – we’ve gathered the top 5 festivities in downtown Sacramento that are guaranteed to be a sham-rocking good time.

 

St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl March 17
9 p.m.- 2 a.m. Begins at 2nd and K streets

Grab your green, Guinness, and good cheer as Old Sacramento celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with a pub crawl. Your goal? Finish the crawl! Choose a crawl map ranging from easy to advanced depending on how Irish you truly are. Check out the participating bars and come thirsty lads and lasses!

Malt & Mash – March 17
11 a.m. – 11 p.m.

Bagpipes, beer garden, and live music – say no more! Malt & Mash will be throwing a fun–filled outdoor party located at St. Rose of Lima Park! Situated across from the Golden 1 Center, you can celebrate this St. Patrick’s Day in true Irish fashion all day long.

de Vere’s Irish Pub – March 17
9 a.m. – 1:45 a.m.

Follow the end of the rainbow to Sacramento’s St. Patrick’s Day destination. Party like your last name is O’Brien and enjoy whiskey, pints of Guinness, and their famous Corned Beef and Cabbage. If that wasn’t enough, you won’t want to miss the Sacramento Firefighters kilt-clad Pipes and Drums musical ensemble.

St. Patrick’s Day Aboard the Delta KingMarch 17
6 p.m. – 11:55 p.m.

Drink, dance, and have a wee bit of fun! The party starts inside the Paddlewheel Saloon where guests can enjoy great food featuring Irish favorites like corned beef, drink specials and live music from Anam Cara. Aboard the Delta King you will find it is the perfect spot to give a clap and dance a jig.

St. Pats Day ParadeMarch 18
11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. 

Enjoy some St. Patty’s parade magic in Old Sacramento. From Irish clubs to dancers to foreign cars, spectators can come and enjoy performances throughout the district starting at 11:30 A.M. Parade marches off at 1 PM and will conclude by 2 PM. There will also be a vendor market on K street to enjoy after the festivities.
