It’s the greenest time of year and you’re in luck! The St. Patrick’s Day Parade is coming back to the Old Sacramento Waterfront on March 18th– and you absolutely can’t miss it. Check out why below!
Parade Details
This isn’t just a parade. There’s live musical entertainment, outdoor beer gardens, and a chance to find Leprechauns hiding throughout the charming historic district.
Hundreds of colorful marchers dressed in green, along with Irish and Highland dancers, pipe and drum bands, historic re-enactors, and a variety of cultural organizations all join together to create an unforgettable experience.
Saturday, March 18th
Parade Time: 1:00 pm
Al Fresco Seating and Vendor Village: 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Leprechaun Hunt
In addition to all this fun, you can hunt for leprechauns that are hiding all through the district.
The St. Patrick’s Day leprechauns have once again visited the Old Sacramento Waterfront in search for their favorite thing…gold!
However, after their arrival, they learned the Gold Rush Era ended long ago. After thinking this was the end of their rainbow, they fled!
Help us find the leprechauns who are hidden all over our historic district so they can celebrate their beloved Irish holiday on time.
They have each hidden with a secret word, collect all the secret words to unlock the final secret message at the end of your activity book, and help restore Irish luck and good cheer.

Participate in the Parade or be a Vendor
Parade Participant
Join us for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade by being a Parade Participant! Whether your organization has a themed float or traveling on foot, this opportunity is a great way to be involved in this festive community event in Old Sacramento Waterfront.
Vendor Village
Share in the festivities before and after the St Patrick’s Day Parade as a festival vendor on K St in Old Sacramento Waterfront. Each vendor is allotted a 10’x10’ space to showcase their own business. The Vendor Village is perfect for retailers, makers, food vendors, and organizations looking to engage with the community and celebrate this holiday.
