Slice, Slice Baby: National Pizza Day

Frankie Wenson

At the start of every new month we mark our calendars for all of the Instagram-able food holidays we need to keep on our radar. Everything from National Donut Day to National Potato Day and everything in-between, it seems that there is an entertaining holiday for every taste.

This month there’s a holiday that will forever have a “pizza” your heart. National Pizza Day is this Saturday, February 9th and whether you like cheese or pepperoni, thin crust or deep dish, ranch… or even one of the hottest debates of all time: pineapple or no pineapple, this is a day sure to be celebrated by everyone! As one of America’s most beloved foods, we would all be doing ourselves a disservice if we didn’t indulge in a little slice of heaven to commemorate the occasion. After all calories don’t really count on weekends, do they?

Looking for a place to celebrate the monumental occasion in #DowntownSac? We have some mouth-watering options for you!
