This is na-cho average festival! While some may deem there to be only a handful of ways to make the classic cheese and chips dish, Sacramento’s largest Nachos Festival is coming to rock your culinary world!
This family-friendly event will feature 40+ different nacho recipes, a beer garden, cute fashion finds from Wild Poppy & Co. and music from the Philharmonic & Opera. Perhaps you can’t have cheese? Not to fret! Vegan nacho options will be available, among other creative creations. Picture a gourmet take on carnitas nachos and even dessert “Oreochos” with Oreo cookies mixed in.
The festival will take place at Cesar Chavez Plaza on August 26th from 2-6:30pm. For tickets, visit sactownnachos.com. Below is a little sneak peek at just some of the delicious options they will be serving up. Our mouths are salivating at the mere thought of all the cheesy possibilities.
