Now, before you go soiling yourself with fright, let us reassure you this interactive performance art event is chock-full of family friendly festivities! Designed to be a large-scale community experience, anyone and everyone is encouraged to dress up in sinister zombie attire and join the undead fun!

So what do the undead do for fun, you ask? Well…

The Dead Play!

The festivities kick off at 4pm with Carnival of the Dead in Roosevelt Park featuring live entertainment, professional make-up artists, food trucks and various vendors. Bring your zombie kids and play carnival games while you listen to live music from the MOANS, plus a Creepy Kids Costume Contest (12 and under only) and a Zombie Bikini Contest sponsored by Cemetarium Haunted House.

The Dead Walk!

Zombies will take to the streets at 7:30pm alongside West Campus Marching Band. The downtown parade will include real live zombie attacks and Thriller flash mob followed by drink specials at Shady Lady for the blood-thirsty.
