What’s the origin of your band’s name?

We took on the name Storytellers because of the fact that through music, be it instrumental or with vocals, there is a story.

In one sentence, how would you describe your band’s musical sound?

Music of the people and for the people rooted in grooves that come from the soul in quest for freedom.

What was the first album you ever bought?
Black Flag

Self titled – it’s a story of this one leg guy who was shot and decided to never give up his dream of rocking the stage and to inspire people that no matter what never give up your dreams!

What are you looking forward to at Concerts in the Park?

This is beyond anything I can ever dream showcasing my art to a crowd this size is a first for me I am beside myself and humble I cant wait to embrace the day with my friends and musical community here in sacramento at Cip and rocking the park

DJ ElementsWhat’s the origin of your band’s name?

In high school, I was into grafitti art, breakdancing, djing, and emceeing, which are the four elements of hip hop.

What food can you not live without on tour? 

Chipotle

K Street.
