Some Fear None
Rock /Hard Rock
The CIP stage welcomes back for another hardcore performance Some Fear None. With only being together as a band since 2011 Some Fear None has been making a name for themselves in the Sacramento music scene. They recently won of some Sammies awards this year for ‘Artist of the Year’ and ‘Best Hard Rock Band!’
What is your musical inspiration?
We just really love music in general but are most inspired by the metal era of the 80’s and grunge era of the 90’s. Bands like the Deftones, Jane’s Addiction, Tool, SOAD and Chevelle to name a few of the frontrunners.
What is one “fun fact” about you and your band?
They frequently surprise fans by randomly inviting them to bring 1 or 2 friends or family members to closed rehearsals for a meet and greet and private performance of the set they are working on for the next show and hand out “swag”.
Other than performing at Concerts in the Park, what do you come to downtown on your own time to do for fun?
There is so much we can do downtown, but we like to go to Old Sacramento, go out to eat, visit the museums, can’t wait for the new arena and along with the arena we love sports!

Has your band played at Concerts in the Park before?
We played one time opening for Dance Gavin Dance about two summers ago as the first opener. It was a standout point in our early career for sure.
What’s the origin of your bands name?
We wanted to capture how the music mixes the darker themes with lighter vocal melodies. The name stands for when the darkness meets the light.

Harlow’s always treats us right!
