Long day at work? To help out, we’ve rounded up 9 happy hours you won’t want to miss. It’s 5 o’clock somewhere, let the libations flow.

Coin-Op:

With old-school arcade games, you can transform into a kid again at Coin-Op. But, the best part is you’re still old enough to drink. Embracing Sacramento’s farm-to-fork movement, Coin-Op uses the freshest ingredients in their food and drinks. This neighborhood watering hole is truly one-of-a-kind.

Happy Hour: Monday-Friday 4pm-7pm

Melting Pot:

Dip into something different with Melting Pot’s happy hour. Quench your thirst with $3 beers, $4 glasses of wine and $5 specialty cocktails. Not only can you unwind with some libations, you can also indulge in some cheesy fondue goodness for just $7.50 per person. Finish off your happy hour by getting chocolate wasted, again for just $7.50 per person.

Firestone Public House does two things right – they bring great beers and awesome food together at reasonable prices. The industrial vibe is hip and draws people in to hang out or watch sports on the many TVs strewn about the bar. They have a huge selection of beers on draft – from Pilsners to porters there is something for everyone. During happy hour, you will get $1 off all big drafts, $2 off all wines by the glass and $4.50 well drinks. While you’re there, scarf down some pizza for half-off – it’s to die for!

Amourath 1819 – Hyatt:

Looking to wine and dine some clients at happy hour? Look no further than Amourath 1819 located in the Hyatt Regency. Their impressive drink menu features $3 draft beers, $6 house wines and $5 well cocktails. They are known for having seasonal fare and their appetizers are always half-off during happy hour. Each Tuesday, they also offer wine tastings where they showcase the top wineries of Northern California.

Fat City Bar & Café:

Fat City is reminiscent of a pioneer bar from the early 1800s. Perfectly situated in the heart of Old Sacramento, guests will be delighted with their traditional American fare with some adventurous dishes that explore the flavors of international cuisine. During happy hour, appetizers are half-off. Wet your whistle with $2 draft beers, $2.50 well cocktails and $3 glasses of house wine.

Downtown & Vine:

A swanky wine bar that brings wine country to the city, Downtown & Vine offers a great happy hour for all you winos out there. To quench your thirst, Downtown & Vine offers $5 glasses of wine during happy hour. If you aren’t the wino type, enjoy select beers for $4-$5. They have a wide variety of flatbreads available for $7 and many options are vegetarian friendly.

Ella Dining Room & Bar:

Mooove on over to Ella Dining Room & Bar during October for Cows and Cabernet month. This upscale, classy dining option situated on The Kay is a great place to unwind after a long day’s work. Chef Rob Lind is creating mouth-watering dishes during October – be sure to check out the Steak Tartare and Braised Oxtail Poutine. There are daily Cabernet specials and specialty craft cocktails to sip on while you recap the day.

Graciano’s Chicago Deep Dish Pizza & Speakeasy:

One of Sacramento’s newest pizza joints, Graciano’s has one of the best patios to unwind on. For just $4 you can get a personal pizza that is baked as a traditional Chicago deep dish. Pizza pairs excellent with beer, so grab a domestic frosty brew for $4 or an imported beer for $5.

Mayahuel-Margarita Mayahuel:

Inspired by rich Mexican culture, Mayahuel offers a great variety of food and drinks at happy hour. There are so many options for happy hour at Mayahuel, it is hard to choose what will tickle your fancy. They’ve got a slue of beers for just $3.50, house margaritas, sangria and mojitos for $5, plus flights of tequila for $15 (save that for a really rough day at the office). You’ll definitely want to grab some grub – check out their Tostadas de Tinga de Pollo for $5 or their Canoa de Cevicheverde de camaron for $6.50.
