The Certified Capitol Mall Farmer’s Market and our new Bodega Days on Thursdays are here! We can already smell the aromas of the food trucks and feel the sunshine on our skin, and we can’t wait to experience that feeling with all of you.
Capitol Mall Farmer’s Market
The Certified Farmer’s Market at the Capitol Mall is back! If you’ve visited this event in past years, you’ll know that this is perfect for lunch breaks out of the office. Starting this week, the Farmer’s Market will be running at full speed from 10 AM – 1 PM until September 28, with Chef’s Priority starting at 9 AM. Our Farmer’s Market at Capitol Mall on Wednesdays is perfect if you want the freshest produce in Sacramento. There will be fresh fruit, vegetables, baked goods, flowers, herbs, and cheeses. This means you’ll have a wide variety of options to choose from- the possibilities are endless! Grab lunch and bring home some ingredients to cook dinner tonight!
Thursday Bodega Days
Downtown’s very own Bodega Days is here! Enjoy a weekly market in Cesar Chavez Plaza with farm-fresh produce, freshly baked bread, locally crafted gifts, artist creations, and a wide variety of food vendors every Thursday from 10 AM until 1:30 PM.
You may be asking what the difference is between this Thursday market and our Wednesday Capitol Mall one. The difference isn’t much, but we’d like to say Bodega Days is more focused on the hot food and maker’s market. There will still be fresh produce, but this is also the perfect way to break up your day with a little stroll and some deliciously prepared food. Get out of the office and enjoy the sunshine with friends and coworkers at either of our markets.
