As we move into a new year and watch all the growth and change that has happened in our fair city just in the last couple of years, it has inspired us to make some changes ourselves for 2018.
We’ve been working hard on a new recipe for getting the word out about farm-to-fork, and are finally ready to serve up what we’ve been cooking…our brand spanking new website and app!
Now going into our third year, and our continued partnership with Visit Sacramento, Eat Farm to Fork is ramping things up to make 2018 a year of growth for the Farm-to-Fork movement! We are a voice in a conversation, to help educate, connect and engage our local communities and encourage them to “Keep Sac Fresh.”
You may have seen us around town, or heard of us through the grapevine, but maybe not sure what we are? Many people don’t even really understand what “farm-to-fork” means, but we are here to help! We try to share content that encourages all the great things that are happening within the Sacramento region that involves agriculture, farm-to-fork cuisine and restaurants, yummy recipes, health education with kids, local events and so much more!
Being the Farm-to-Fork Capital of America means that A LOT is going on in the community and this movement, that we want to be a voice that helps create and share stories that make our region so amazing!
So, with feedback from focus groups and surveys, we retooled our purpose to be a place of food education, entertainment and a way to connect to the local farm-to-fork lifestyle and businesses that support that ethos, in the Sacramento region.
We’re also aware of the need to stay current with all the new-fangled technology in the digital landscape. So we developed an App to keep you instantly connected to the farm-to-fork conversation. We are now offering exclusive discounts and content to locals, and the best part is that with real-time notifications you’ll never have to wonder what’s going on when it comes to all things fresh.
The Sacramento region is getting more and more national attention because of all the great things it has to offer.
