Downtown Funk

Karlee Cemo-McIntosh, Sacramento365’s Marketing & Business Development Manager

Live it up and make it a summer night downtown with Sacramento365! Here are just a few ways you can move and groove in Downtown Sacramento this month.

ArtMix: Sugar Rush
Crocker Art Museum
July 13

Aerial and circus acts, sweet treats, and body painting? Count us in! Crocker continues to push their creative envelope for their monthly ArtMix parties. This month’s event brings the pages of the contemporary art magazine Hi-Fructose to life as visual and performing artists collaborate to present a living exploration of cutting-edge art. Aerialist Rebel Rose, circus artist Katie Nicole, along with more local legends will pump up the volume.

Looking to grab a bit post-event to help tame your sugar high? Head over to SAUCED for some delicious BBQ.

Concerts in the Park 2017
Cesar Chavez Plaza
July 14 and July 21

Only TWO more Fridays of Concerts in the Park left for 2017! Grab your friends and head over to the largest outdoor happy hour on the grid (FREE entry). On deck for the 14th is R.LUM.R, Joyzu, Trophii, The Philharmonik, and John Reyes. Joy and Madness, Ideateam, Mikey LP and the Krooks, and Joseph ONE will close out this year’s series on the 21st.

Keep the party going with your very own afterparty at Coin-Op!

Bruno Mars: The 24K Magic World Tour
Golden 1 Center
July 18

July at the Golden 1 Center is jam-packed with legendary acts taking over the venue almost every night. One of those is none other than the Grammy Award winner and world-renowned, multi-platinum selling singer/songwriter/producer/director/musician, Bruno Mars. Our advice is to bring the funk and prepare to dance and sing like nobody is watching because his high-energy show will not disappoint.

Looking to grab a bite before the show? Ten22 is a 3-block walk to the arena and is always on point.
