Dinner, Drinks, & Chefs!

Jordan Alwood

We bet you’ve never had dinner under a bridge with a gorgeous view of the Sacramento River! If you have– we stand corrected. For those of you who haven’t, this event is so popular that it sells out in minutes. The Farm-to-Fork Festival is almost here and is hosting the Tower Bridge Dinner on Sunday, September 11 from 4:30-10 PM. Read more below to see why this event is so important to the Sacramento community.

What is the Tower Bridge Dinner?

One of the most memorable dining experiences in the country is the Tower Bridge Dinner, which was conceptualized and executed by Visit Sacramento. A locally sourced supper made by some of the best chefs in the area and the world is served alongside Sacramento’s renowned Tower Bridge every year to hundreds of people. Chefs Patrick Mulvaney and Randall Selland, pioneers of farm-to-fork cuisine, hosted the first Tower Bridge Dinner in 2013. Interest in this unique event comes from all over the nation.

Music by Dan Rau

We know– it’s crazy that this event gets even better. There will be live music by Dan Rau! Since 2003, Sacramentons have enjoyed the music of Dan Rau, a passionate singer, and rhythmic acoustic guitarist. In addition to Two Step, a Dave Matthews tribute, he has also performed with the nearby bands 2me and The Diva Kings. So not only do you get to enjoy yummy food, but you also get FREE live music!
