Bringing traditional, southern cooking to Sacramento, Sauced prepares for its fall opening.

Located at 1027 7th Street, Sauced is within steps of Golden 1 Center. The BBQ joint, which is in the final stages of construction, will feature live music every Friday and Saturday night – making it a true urban hub for not only food and drinks, but entertainment as well.

Since the opening of their first location in 2012, the restaurant’s founders (and cousins) Barrett Gomes and Brenden Scanlan have looked to highlight a variety of American barbecue styles.

“Our goal here is always to provide excellent food, great drinks, and an unmatched Southern charm and ambiance,” the two founders say to visitors on Sauced’s official website. “We want every one of our guests to become a part of our extended family and walk out of here with a memorable experience and a full stomach.”

All the wood and corrugated ceiling in the building have been reclaimed and shipped in from barns in Georgia and North Carolina – literally bringing the south to Sacramento.
