How did your band form?

It all started during the mid-80s when we were pretend DJs on a college radio station, then we decided to be pretend rockstars instead.

In one sentence, how would you describe your band’s musical sound? 

Orange

What is your favorite music venue in Downtown Sacramento?

Our favorite place to perform in Downtown Sac is at the Scientology Center, located at 1007 6th St. Are you curious about yourself?

The year was 1993, three high school buddies set out to dominate the world of music. But then we spent all our time playing video games and D&D so we only dominated the world of music every other weekend.

What is your musical inspiration?

A mix between WWE walk up music, Dr Demento, The Ventures and Oasis. 

What food can you not live without on tour?

McDonalds Fish Fillets

In one sentence, how would you describe your band’s musical sound?

The Enlows have been described as power-pop-punk. 

How did your band form?

We were just a couple nerds getting together to create music that gave homage to the bands we grew up admiring.

What are you looking forward to at Concerts in the Park?

Heatstroke…but seriously, the beer garden and the dancers.

George: Bad Religion – The Gray Race
Craig: Guns n’ Roses – Appetite for Destruction
Matt: Iron Maiden – The Number of the Beast
John: Black Sabbath – Never Say Die

What food can you not live without on tour?

George: Beer & Bourbon. Is that food?
Craig: Pizza
Matt: Coffee
John: Tortillas (because everything can go in them)

I’ve been DJ’n since 98 and love to collect and share sounds with people. 

What’s the origin of your name?

The origin of my name is more or less rooted in my punk rock background,
its a reminder to never work or accept payment for something you aren’t
passionate about or standing behind. 

What is your favorite part of Downtown Sacramento?

My favorite part of Downtown Sacramento is growing up going to shows in the mid/late 90s and now being able to add to that history.
