How did your band form?

From Indian Lakes is the experimental indie rock brainchild of California based multi-instrumentalist Joey Vannucchi. He began writing songs in a small mountain community just outside Yosemite and later enlisted the help of friends to perform his material.

In one sentence, how would you describe your band’s musical sound?

Joey Vannucchi started writing and recording songs at a friend’s studio in Indian Lakes and titled them “Songs From Indian Lakes” which was later shortened to the band’s current name.
