To summit up, we’re talking about beer! Sacramento is bringing the California Craft Beer Summit and Beer Festival back to the downtown scene for its third year. This special weekend is the West Coast’s biggest event catered to brewers and brew-lovers alike.
During the three-day event, you can wander through a multitude of educational classes and interactive exhibits. After you’ve dipped your toes (and lips) into all things beer, you can finish your weekend at the Beer Festival, where over 160 different breweries from California will be available to taste-test.
September 7th and 8th : 12:15 – 4:30 p.m. and 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
If you’re heading downtown Thursday or Friday, be sure to check out Expo Hall for “Tap Talks,” chef demos and hands-on displays and equipment demos. You can raise a glass to brewing legends and learn why your beer always makes “happy hour” a little happier.
September 9th: 11:45 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.
Make sure you save Saturday for the Beer Festival, where you can join 4,000 other beer-loving members of the Sacramento community in front of the Capitol! Grab a friend and taste over 450 beers ranging from frothy IPAs to espresso-infused coffee beers (which may be a good choice if you have work the next day!)
