During the long, hot days of summer the best way to cool down is with an ice-cold treat. You’re in luck ’cause Concerts in the Park is THE place to be on Fridays and is full of great refreshments to help you beat the heat.

There is nothing quite as thirst quenching as an ice-cold beer. Each week the taps on the Bud Light truck flow with plenty of frosty brews to choose from. Whether you’ve got a hankering for a Kona Castaway IPA, a Widmer Hefewizen, good ol’ Bud Light, or one of our other 3 options – we’ve got you covered!

Booze not your style? It’s ok – we’ve got some other tasty treats for the kids and kids-at-heart. There’s nothing quite as refreshing as cooling off with shaved ice covered in sweet syrup. Annie’s Sno Biz serves up some of the best ice-cold treats around.

Maybe you’ve noticed the irresistible smell of waffle cones wafting through the park. Well, along with those delicious cones comes ice cream. I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! Rich’s Ice Cream proudly serves Gunther’s Ice Cream (you know that place in Curtis Park that ALWAYS has a line Rich'sout the door and around the corner). The best part – there isn’t the dreaded line at Concerts in the Park for the best ice cream in Sac!

And as always, it is super important to stay hydrated when Mother Nature turns the temperature up on us. We’ve got you covered with Dasani water at the bar – just $2 to keep you from getting over heated.

If you’re mouth isn’t watering because of these amazing cold treats, perhaps knowing that Concerts in the Park is always free and always fun will get you out to experience summer in downtown Sac.
