The 10th annual AMGEN Tour of California kicks off this Mother’s Day weekend in Downtown Sac. We are honored to have the start of one of the nation’s most distinguished cycling races start off in our beloved city. The first leg of the race starts at the State Capitol and riders will then cross the iconic Tower Bridge heading out of city limits.
This great family-friendly event is one for the books. Bring mom out on her special day to soak up the sun and see some of the world’s best cyclists compete for the prize. There are great opportunities to view the race along Capitol Mall and in other various parts of Downtown Sac. If you’re worried about parking, just ride your bike and park it at the SABA bike valet on the West Steps of the State Capitol.
