5 Ways to Achieve Your Resolutions in Downtown

Katie Almazan

The new year is upon us, and while we are mourning the loss of excuses to eat holiday pastries at 8 AM, we’re finally ready to put on our adult pants (that miraculously still fit) to gear up for some positive changes in 2018. Here are 5 ways you can achieve your goals to a better you!

1. Get Active

The Dailey Method: 1011 8th Street

Live a more active lifestyle and achieve your fitness goals with the fastest way to a strong, lean and sculpted body. The Dailey Method combines the best of Pilates, yoga, and ballet barre training. Our office is hooked!

2. Stress Less

Punch Bowl Social: 500 J Street

We asked for more fun in Sacramento, and we got it! Release the worries of the day with a craft cocktail and games that make you feel just like a kid again. From virtual reality to bowling, shuffle board to corn hole, we can’t imagine a better place to reduce stress and have fun.

3. Eat Healthy

Backbone Café: 729 J Street

It can be hard to find healthy options when eating out, but fret no more! Downtown’s newest addition, Backbone Café, is here to help. They’re committed to serving the highest quality food and offer an array of organic and whole food options. Eating healthy never tasted so good!

4. Live Out Loud

Golden 1 Center: 500 David J Stern Walk

If you haven’t checked out G1C, the time is now! Score tickets to a heart-pumping Kings game or sing your heart out to your favorite artist at the arena. Your next experience is waiting.

5. Treat yourself

Century DOCO and XD: 1015 4th Street

Okay maybe this isn’t the typical resolution, but we think still think it’s important to do! Sit back, relax, and enjoy a movie in the heart of downtown! The reclined seats and popcorn are calling.

Don’t drop the ball this New Year – let’s do this!
