Drag Queens on Ice

Carly Quellman

Say it loud, say it proud, your favorite Drag Queens are coming to town! Drag Queens on Ice is one of the Downtown Sacramento Ice Rink’s favorite themed nights and we’ve got all the details for you!

Presented by Outword Magazine, Drag Queens on Ice will celebrate Sacramento’s LGBT community on November 16, from 6-8 p.m. with an evening of fabulous entertainment. Listen to local LGBT star DJ Jammin’ Joe while skating alongside the city’s most outrageous personalities. It’s sure to be a night filled with laughter, lipstick and love.

Drag Queens on Ice is one of most special theme nights happening during the Downtown Sacramento Ice Rink’s 26th season and benefits NorCal AIDS Cycle, Davis Pride, and Sacramento Rainbow Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Foundation.

Be sure to gear up for the weather and head down to the rink for a spectacular night! You can follow us on Twitter at @downtownicerink to keep up-to-date with the ice rink – so no matter what, you can skate your day or night away.

More information is available on godowntownsac.com/icerink.

Getting to the rink is easy. Here are a few of our favorite ways:

– Utilize Sacramento Regional Transit District light rail

– Visit SacPark.org to find a parking spot

– Nearby garage parking includes City Hall Garage (10th & I) and Capitol Garage (10th & L)

Special thanks to our media sponsor Outward Magazine, Sacramento’s source for local LGBT news. You can read more on their website. Thank you to the support of our sponsors DOCO Sacramento, Western Health Advantage, Sacramento Regional Transit District, and Sacramento Kings who contribute to the ice rink season.
