The Sacramento Ballet’s inaugural “Homegrown” presents world premieres by a trio of exciting emerging artists: Jennifer Archibald, Nicole Haskins and Isaac Bates-Vineuza. Archibald, Resident Choreographer for Cincinnati Ballet, was a Choreographic Fellow for Alvin Ailey’s New Directions Choreography Lab. She has choreographed for major dance companies such as Atlanta Ballet, Kansas City Ballet and Stockholm’s Balletakedemien, as well as commercially for Tommy Hilfiger, NIKE, and MAC Cosmetics. Haskins, a Sacramento Ballet alumnus, has graced the Oregon Ballet Theatre’s Choreography XX and the New York Choreographic Institute. She has choreographed for Richmond Ballet and Smuin Ballet, among others. Finally, Sacramento Ballet artist Isaac Bates-Vineuza further develops After All, his offering from the 2019 Beer and Ballet.
