Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park and the State Indian Museum will be open for self-guided tours until 5PM on October 21.

Save the date for the return of Films with Friends at Sutter’s Fort SHP! For the first time we will be bringing holiday themed movies to the walls of Sutter’s Fort.

5:30 PM: Find your perfect spot in the public park grounds at Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park. The movie will be projected onto the Fort wall at 26th and L. Spaces are first come first serve, please bring your own chairs/ blankets. Dogs on leash are OK. No alcohol please.  While we wait for the movie to start, enjoy live music. Refreshing beverages and other treats will be on-site and available for purchase.

The first 100 attendees to visit the Friends of Sutter’s Fort table will receive a glow bracelet and small popcorn.

6:30 PM: The movie will begin as soon as it is dark enough to see the movie projection on the walls of Sutter’s Fort SHP.
