The Curiosity Collaborative is excited to announce the third annual City of Trees Parade and Mardi Gras Festival! The City of Trees Parade is a dazzling showcase of Sacramento’s rich diversity and culture! Last year’s event included one thousand performers from 34 different groups, and this year’s event will be even bigger!

Join in on the all-afternoon festival beginning at Capitol Mall. There will be live performances, interactive exhibits, food trucks, local vendors, and a beverage garden to wet your whistle and help them raise funds for this non-profit event. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and you’ll be able to watch our fantastic parade as it rolls past the festival to Old Sacramento, culminating in Sacramento’s only evening-time parade, featuring light-up art cars from Burning Man!

Soon to be announced, for the first time ever, the City of Trees Pet Parade! This paws-itively unique event will feature hundreds of local pets dressed in their Mardi Gras best. Bring your beloved pet in costume, and even enter into a costume contest where fabulous prizes await you! More details will come soon, so be sure to follow @cityoftreesparade
