Fridays are for the Bands

Concerts in the Park (CIP) has evolved from a “battle of the bands” meant for grabbing a beer after work with your co-workers into a rite of passage for Sacramento’s musical talent and a true music festival.
CIP is for the people of Sacramento. It’s a free event where everyone is welcome. We’re extremely proud of our journey to keep Concerts in the Park alive every Summer Friday at the Downtown Plaza Park.

Lineup Launch Block Party

Summer is close, and block parties are back! We’re hosting our Lineup Launch Block Party on Friday April 10 to kick
off the CIP 2026 season. We’ll have DJ Oasis playing all night, performance from Sac Dance Lab, and the
best part – drinks from your favorite bars.
